Mission Statement
To strive for the promotion of Knowledge Driven Societies in
Middle East, Asia & Africa through sharing and dissemination of
Knowledge amongst the centers of expertise and institutions of
higher learning in the region. The all inclusive convergence of
Telecom, IT, Electronics & Print Media can be a tremendous
Equalizer to give competitive edge to the developing nations in
the rapidly shrinking global village. Merely following global
trends would not help. Active pursuit of frontier technologies is
an absolute must.
Vision
To be a comprehensive and exhaustive hub of knowledge &
Information exchange amongst the developing nations of the
Middle East, Africa & Asia region.
Slogan
In slight variance to conventional wisdom that ‘Knowledge is
Power’ our slogan is:
Application of Knowledge is Power
In the first stage of launch, TechMag-MEA will cover:
1. BioTechnology
2. NanoTechnology
3. Energy and
4. ICT
Later, Particle Physics and New Materials will be added. The
magazine will periodically bring out Print Editions in collaboration
with TelecomPlus.
The thrust of the initiative would be in the developments on
these topics in the emerging markets of Middle East, Africa and
Asia with a view to establish linkages amongst the regional
nations to share knowledge and benefit from the experiences of
fellow researchers. To that end, TechMag-MEA will give
extensive coverage to regional efforts and also include latest
Articles, News, and Research from the developed world.
TechMag-MEA would prominently display links to the websites
and institutions of higher learning of the region.
