Mar 01: Alfa has awarded 3G
contract to Ericsson to upgrade
its mobile network in Lebanon.
Under the contract, Ericsson will be responsible

Jun 02: Bharti Airtel with operations in 19
countries across Asia and Africa, announced an
agreement with Huawei to modernise and
expand Airtel's 2G and 3G network infrastructure
in Africa. The agreement will enable Airtel Africa

broadband footprint in the region.
