It was the positive nationalism, the spirit of community building and cooperation towards peace, freedom and prosperity, which led to the creation of the state of Pakistan. Despite setbacks and hard times, Pakistan has, by and large, remained true to Jinnah’s vision while continuing to work towards the democratic ideals of freedom and equality within a strong national identity. Pakistan’s economy is grooming and the country is rapidly moving towards stability and this is high time for the people to work with zeal for a better Pakistan and for furthering unity among the nation to accelerate this process.
Relacom operating in 20 countries and employing more than 20,000 professionals worldwide, works with major telecom operators around the globe. Relacom is celebrating connectivity with 63rd Independence Anniversary by moving forward to connecting with great enthusiasm and to renewed commitment to make Pakistan strong, progressive and prosperous. Relacom wishes the nation a very happy Independence Anniversary.
Further, our contribution to the society should not be restricted only to the unfortunate events like Tsunami. This year the monsoon season caused the worst floods in the history of Pakistan. Floods devastated and washed away hundreds of villages and towns, in its course. Having a deep penetration in Pakistan with over 52 offices, Relacom believes it can make a difference by using its resources and the reach within the country. Relacom has established an emergency response committee which will manage the relief operations organized by Relacom Pakistan. That’s the least the industry can do for the society it earns its livelihood from. Also, Relacom is putting up a relief camp in interior Sind where we have a network of our operations/maintenance. This 3-day camp will be held in one of the most affected areas, the Sukkur Division. This camp will be run by Relacom management on volunteer basis. This shall include medical facilities, supplies, and medicines, along with 3 experienced doctors from reputed hospitals of Karachi. In continuation of the same effort, all the staff of Relacom Pakistan will donate one-day salary for the affected people in the form of basic supplies. In short, maximum efforts are being made to generate funds for the rehabilitation of flood-hit people.
Relacom Pakistan urges the industry to come forward with helping hand for assuaging the pain and sufferings of millions in the flood stricken area. Long live Pakistan.
